Hornby track. Early to mid seventies
It’s steel track and has clearly not been stored under ideal conditions. There is surface rust on all of the track ranging from light to heavy.
A couple of things… Firstly you can see almost all this track has what I think is nickel silver plated fishplates as almost all are clean. This all looks like early 70s stuff with half sleeper ends
Secondly this stuff isn’t hard to clean. At chapel yard stores we put early track in a bath of coke (or recently Pepsi max lol) overnight. Then we buff it up with ultra fine p1200 or p600 wet and dry sandpaper lubricated with wd40 and it comes out a treat
