It feels quite a privalidge to have this in our shop. Its an incredibly rare piece .
The set consists of an 0-4-0 tank engine, flat trailer with a minix ford anglia onboard, guards van, circle of track and a battery power controller. Look closely at the pictures. This set has never been removed from its box. Its like a little time capsule! You can see that the rubber bands on the car and on the track are still in place and I would imagine incredibly delicate.
Its been protected all this time, by its original cardboard sleeve. The ends of the box have a bit of marking but the rest of the box is near perfect. Peering the tough clear plastic window is a delight and looking in the end the instruction leaflet is visible and dated 28th September 1966. The end flaps still have some stiffness when opened. Absolutely beautiful set the likes of which I don’t expect to see again!
