Just as it left the factory back in 1970. All it’s original packing and by this point they had stopped using that god awful foam that gives us dealers a lot of grief 60 years later!
I flipped the bodyshell off to reveal a lovely new motor. This was lightly lubricated and then tested the following day.
I can’t say though that it’s perfect. If you look just where the screw is on top of body, there is a small blob of matt black paint where someone at the factory who painted the inside and the roof ,dripped a blob on the body! I don’t think I’ve ever come across what really should be a factory second and I find it quite delightful to see the factory applied imperfection!
