These items provides an opportunity to get started in this fascinating offshute of Hornby in the late 1970’s to mid 80’s at a very low price. We have a set up for zero 1 here as we have a number of mint boxed locos in stock that have been professionally converted to Zero 1. You can view them here
Points to note:
- R950 Master Control Unit. The unit has been used and has been fully tested. We left it switched on for a couple of hours to ensure that it wasnt going to develop a fault as new unused electronics can do. Complete with all its paperwork and accessories still sealed in bags. We had it driving a flying scotsman around the track! Note the reason all the accesories are unused is because its in a box that had a brand new but faulty unbit in thats been tipped.
- R952 Slave Unit is new and unused in a bright box with rubber feet still sealed in bag and has been tested on our track
- R953 Hand Held Unit is new and unused in a bright box and has been tested on our track
- I have included 1 Locomotive module. This have NOT been tested and is sold as is. But I cant see any reason why they wouldnt work. New chips are available on eBay for about a tenner.
If you are new to Zero 1 please read the instructions thoroughly. Its a sophisticated system and runs at 16v AC so is not complatible with unchipped locos or DCC
