The first thing to say about this set is its scarcity!!

An opportunity to get your hands on a Airfix Monte Carlo Set. Crucially, it has its complete cardboard mountain range and of course the box. Everything else that goes in the set is standard stuff and readily available on places such as eBay. I’d source all this myself but I really dont have the time so offering as is.

Points to note:

The box lid has some damage to one of the ends and is a bit worn but displays very well
It has no cars
It has just one 45 degree curve missong. Some pieces of track need new brass connectors. A few of them are missing You can see I have included some extra sections of track that can easily be used as donors to replace them. Theres more than enough
I have also included a pair of crossovers you can add to the circuit that will really make it fun!
Throttles present and undamaged (also a spare set with alternative power connector )
Full set of plastic track connectors but none of the metal track connectors
It has some of the round and brick like supports and 3 of the 4 triangular track supports
Used BP Oil bottle present
A set of instructions (copies). These are crucial for setting it up!
The boxed mountain range is excellent and has seen little use. These, on the occassions they do come up for sale, regular make £50 on their own

At time of writing (Aug 26), we also have a complete set for sale. I had only ever seen one of these sets as a small child and right now we have two!
