Whilst looking lovely with just a few minor scratches to the metal base, this tank didn’t work. After years of storage it had completely seized up.
So it was dismantled and lubricated and the mechanism freed up and returned to working order. The cap firing mechanism works beautifully and now the tank has a strong pull!.
Missing its Ariel and driver but complete with its often lost or broken turret. Lovely Picture box, split to one corner.
Ready for a new generation to have fun with!
Supplied new batteries, with the remains of one roll of caps plus one more unused roll .
