This is a Circa 1980 lovely set. Possibly test run?. All the of the items appear shiny and new. The drive wheels have a little tarnishing on the motor bogie
The box is complete minor shelfwear. The cellophane is complete and undamaged. I have reattached it though as the double sided tape had dried out. Note it is missing its instruction sheet.
Pantograph is Mint and unused and works perfectly
Top of the drive car has perfect cabling
Directional lights tested and work correctly
Now on testing the drive car, not surprisingly that familiar whistling was heard as it woke up from its 45 year old slumber! So the top has been popped (simplicity itself best watch a youtube video if you havent done this), and the ringfield motor was lightly oiled around the bearings where the oil dries out. Now running whistle free and smooth. I have only test run this so will need a few laps to bed in if you are planning to run it.
