Description
Well I have had a very satisfying morning sorting this maginificent station out and constructing it !Nothing is glued together so will deconstruct back into the box although I would prefer to post the main building made up (read on….)
So its not complete and needs a few bits which is reflected in the knock down price and I’ll be searching for few bits to complete it until it sells but obviously that will reflect in its value.
So Points to note:
- Full set of new knarled nuts and bolts to hold the platform together along with all roof screws
- I’ve thrown in an extra platform end. It allows you to terminate the third line coming into the station and finishes it off (see pics)
- Nice canopies with no cracks
- Some doors and windows are replicas. (2 windows and doors on the front and 5 on the top floor of the front. All are glazed with some relacement glazing)
- Complete box with a little shelfwear
- our very own repoduction clock faces
Missing bits
- 1 narrow platform end
- 3 side glazing units
- 4 platform end side walls
Damaged bits
- A couple of the roof holding brackets have been repaired which is fine but I’m inclined to post as is now its built with the rest of the bits going in the box
- one of the building side walls needs replacing znd 1 has a very small chip at the base
So as you can see it builds up in to a great through station as is (well if you put a tarpaulin over thwall damage!) and will reside as my guest railway station until its new owner is found
