First we have ever had. So Rare! He is in lovley condition.
He arrived “not working” and a bit grubby from years of storage. So as you can see, he has been stripped down, lightly cleaned and bought back to life! The switch wasnt making contact very well and the motor needed bearings lubricating and a good run after what looks like decades of storage. Conveniently I have an ideal motorific Aston Martin at hand so was able to use that to run the motor back in!
You can see from his dismantled state he is very clean inside and the whole model shows little use really. Thankfully someone had removed the batteries before forgetting about him! His head and body move correctly an his arm action works too.
He is not perfect, the robot itself has some minor paint loss comiserate with age (56 at the time of writing!) and a small piece of his head ariel is missing (the top bit) The presentation box is damaged to bottom left corner .
He will be on proud display in our shop and I’m sure will garner a lot of attention while we have him
