A Fascinating peice from the 1930’s. In beautiful condition too. I hadn’t come across this piece before and having researched it I can see why.
I could only find two examples on the Internet , both in poor condition coming up for sale in the last 10 years.
Most Chad Valley ships were sold as Tinplate “take to pieces” toys, but this one has a lovely lithographed decks and a wooden hull.
The decks have very little signs of damage or fading.
12″ long and 21/2″ high. Fabulous piece.
